Opera Company of Middlebury seeks a Part-Time Development Director to lead contributed revenue efforts for a mission-driven professional opera company.
Responsibilities include:
Leading multiple fundraising programs, including Annual Fund, Membership Campaign, Major Gifts, Business Sponsorships, and special appeals
Leading grant research and applications
Cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding individual donors and sponsors
Supporting Board members in fundraising activities
Managing donor records, acknowledgements, and reports
Collaborating with leadership on fundraising strategy and messaging
Qualifications:
3+ years nonprofit fundraising experience (arts preferred)
Grant writing and sponsorship experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently in a small organization
Ability to attend some evening or weekend events
Passion for the performing arts
Compensation: Commensurate with experience.

OCM grants auditions for principal roles to professional opera singers on an invitation-only basis. The artist's management should email Artistic Director Douglas Anderson with requests for an audition.
