Join us for a World Opera Day Sing-Along!

This event is FREE! No registration required.

What better way to celebrate the power of music than to SING TOGETHER? The Opera Company of Middlebury’s recent Music in Troubled Times Festival challenged us all to reflect on the role of music in our lives. Now it’s time to put that inspiration into action! Let’s raise our voices, fill the room with glorious sound, and celebrate the joy, drama, and extraordinary power of a community united in song.

Led by OCM Chorus Master Nathaniel Lew, with Mary Jane Austin, Music Director of our Youth Opera Company, at the piano, this afternoon of opera choruses is open to EVERYONE! No experience required - scores provided. Just bring your voice!!

Dive into the delicious drama of opera and sing beloved favorites by Verdi, Puccini, Wagner, and more, plus some musical theater favorites. Whether you’re a seasoned chorister, an enthusiastic shower singer, or somewhere in between, there’s a place for you. Bring your friends and family and experience the thrill of making music together!
